압니다, 입니까?

'압니다'는 주어의 속성을 나타내는 명사와 결합하여, 격식적 상항에서 듣는 사람을 높여 말하는 문장의 서술어가 된다. '입니까?'는 '압니다'의 의문형으로 주어의 속성에 대하여 물을 때 사용한다.

'압니다' combines with a noun indicating the subject's attributes to form a predicate in formal sentences that address the listener with respect. '입니까?' is the interrogative form of '압니다' and is used to ask about the subject's attributes.

Example:

(저는) 유수프입니다 - I am Yusuf

왕민입니다 - I am Wang Min

가: 어느 나라사람입니까? - Where do you come from?

나: (저는) 라오스 사람입니다. - I come from Laos.
